Project Shooter

New Content in Version 0.2:

• Shotguns, a new weapon class, including 2 new weapons.
• Deathmatch mode, a new mode that pits the player against a group of AI, to test the new combat AI system.

Project Shooter is a collection of prototype systems combined into a small sandbox experience, intended for me to use in future projects. Making it publicly available means I can gather feedback from as many people as possible.

Current Features:

• 4 Levels
  • A development sandbox, with a small sample of the available features
  • A firing range, to test how the weapons feel
  • An assault course, to test how movement and gunplay work together, along with testing the player's skills.
  • A Deathmatch against a group of AI, to test the combat AI
• 16 Weapons
  • Including pistols, SMGs, assault rifles and more, with entirely new classes of weapons on the way.

To Do:

• Improvements to the AI
  • The current AI is very barebones and unreliable, I'm looking to make it more flexible and add better functionality.
• Story Driven Mission
  • Including AI enemies, as well as making use of the inventory system already in the game.
• Tuning
  • Adjustments to gameplay based on player feedback
